On April 23, 2025, Pima College Police received a report of an individual being assaulted near the Transportation building on the Downtown campus. The suspect, unaffiliated with the college, was arrested. There has been an increase in random acts of violence in the broader community. The advisory encourages increased personal awareness and reporting of suspicious individuals.
