Severe Weather Advisory: Tornado Warning Procedures

East Texas, including LeTourneau University, is susceptible to tornadoes. If a tornado is sighted, the City of Longview's Early Weather Warning Siren System (EWWS) will sound a 3-5 minute steady alarm. Registered users of the LeTourneau University Electronic Campus Communication System (ECCS) will receive text and email alerts about warnings published by the National Weather Service. All individuals should move to designated severe weather waiting areas, avoid buildings with metal siding, and seek shelter in central locations away from windows. If outside, seek low ground and avoid vehicles and bridges.

No. 15 Men's Golf Places 10th at Golfweek October Classic

LeTourneau University's men's golf team, ranked No. 15 nationally, finished 10th out of 24 teams at the Golfweek October Classic, highlighted by freshman Rafa Torres tying for 15th in the individual standings.

Three new members—Portia Phillips, Dan Miller, and Nate West—were inducted into the LeTourneau Athletics Hall of Fame during Homecoming weekend. Annual athletic awards were also presented.

LeTourneau University Police urge the campus community to report any suspicious persons or activities immediately. This includes unknown individuals loitering in residence halls, vehicles moving repeatedly through parking lots, persons exhibiting unusual symptoms, or anyone attempting unauthorized access to offices or rooms.
