Emergency Notification and Armed Intruder Procedures

Cecil College uses the Seahawk Alert system to issue immediate notifications for emergencies or serious crimes that pose a threat to campus safety. In the event of an armed intruder, follow ALICE protocols: Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate. Remain alert for Seahawk Alert messages and follow instructions from emergency personnel.

Severe Weather Preparedness Advisory

Cecil College monitors weather broadcasts for severe weather. In the event of a tornado watch or warning, the Seahawk Alert system will notify the campus community. Tornado WATCH means a tornado is possible; WARNING means a tornado has been spotted or indicated by radar—seek shelter immediately in designated areas on the lowest floor. Follow Seahawk Alert instructions and remain in place until cleared by college staff or law enforcement.

Cecil College invites prospective students and families to its Fall Open House on Wednesday, November 12, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the North East Campus. Attendees can explore academic programs, meet faculty, tour facilities, and learn about admissions and financial aid.

Cecil College held its second annual graduation for the Accelerated Nursing Program, honoring students who completed the rigorous 13-month pathway to become Registered Nurses.
