Campus Lockdown Following Bomb Threat (All Clear Issued)
On the morning of October 17, 2025, Monroe County Community College received a bomb threat affecting both the Main Campus and Whitman Center. The campuses were evacuated and placed on lockdown while law enforcement, including bomb detection dogs, cleared all buildings. As of 4:07 p.m., all buildings were declared safe; however, the buildings will remain on lockdown until campus reopens the following morning.
