Heavy Traffic Advisory: NC State Fair and Concerts Impacting Raleigh
Significant traffic congestion is expected in the Raleigh area, including near Meredith College, due to the North Carolina State Fair (Oct. 16–26) and large concerts at the Lenovo Center. Expect delays on Blue Ridge Road, Edwards Mill Road, Hillsborough Road, Wade Avenue, Trinity Road, and I-440. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time, carpool if possible, and avoid walking on highways for safety reasons.
